As you enter the foyer, you are greeted by bamboo floors that run throughout the common areas and a beautiful light fixture overhead thanks to the high ceiling.
On either side of you are arched entryways leading to the formal living and dining with those fabulous dormer windows I mentioned earlier. Privacy can be created by closing off the archway to the room on the left, just in case the four bedrooms weren’t enough!
Enter the great room and allow yourself a moment to appreciate the sight. The vaulted, beamed ceiling soars overhead. Used brick makes up the backsplash for the gas log fireplace with a lovely wooden mantle, and is flanked on each side by large windows. You’ll have plenty of room for your book collection with the built-in bookcase.
This large great room eventually gives way to the eat-in kitchen; a perfect setup for entertaining. Double doors with ornate trimmings lead out back from this passthrough.
In the kitchen, you can hang out at the raised breakfast bar for a snack or sit at the table in the large space reserved for your daily meals. This kitchen boasts ample counter space, maple cabinets, recessed lighting, the retro-style Legacy stove mentioned earlier, and a walk-in pantry. This is the type of kitchen that can actually make meal prep enjoyable.
From the kitchen, you can work your way back to the Master Suite. Here you’ll find a room large enough for a bed, furniture, and reading nook if you want. The two cedar-lined closets come with built-in shelves for the super organizer in you.
Your en suite is complete with dual vanity, large claw foot soaking tub, corner shower, tiled with glass front and door, and separate water closet.
The guest bedrooms are located in the guest wing on the other side of the house. There are three bedrooms and a full bath, with dual sinks and beautifully tiled shower with TWO shower heads. The back bedroom has built-in shelves/entertainment center.
This backyard is just waiting for you to make your mark. The large patio extends from the double doors in the kitchen, but there is a door in the master bath and one in the guest wing hallway that lead out here as well.
The yard is big enough for a pool or garden or both! Lots of sunshine here but the big tree in the back corner provides a good section of shade – again, you get the best of both!
