Amongst Friends

This front yard is like having your own park. An expansive lawn is dotted with decorative rock and the crape myrtles look absolutely lovely in the Spring. Before we go inside, I want to show some love to the stately oak tree. Surrounded by a ring of meticulously trimmed shrubbery, this gorgeous guy watches over the home like an old friend. I just love an old oak, don’t you?

A spacious foyer welcomes you into the home. Notice the chandelier above and the afternoon light sparkling through the lead glass of the front door. From here you can access practically every part of the house.

A comfortable sitting room sits to the left of the front door, next to the staircase, while an open formal dining room is off to the right. Columns help give this area its own “space” while a built-in hutch is both functional and beautiful.

Straight ahead is the great room. A spacious den comes with a gas fireplace and built-in entertainment center and storage. The chef will always stay in the mix since the kitchen overlooks this room and the breakfast nook.

This kitchen is not one to be underestimated. The more time you spend in here, the more you find to fall in love with. If you love hosting movie night or bringing everyone over to watch the big game, you’ll love this entertainment room. (Side note: your guests will have plenty of room to park with two driveways!)

Like I said before, this backyard feels like a fairytale. A terraced wall lined with vines provides a beautiful backdrop for the bottom level. Here you have plenty of room for outdoor dining, seating areas, plus your grill. Up a small set of stone steps, you’ll find yourself at a perfect landing for another outdoor table or lounge area. A smaller landing sits just beyond, the perfect spot for another couple of chairs. A path winds up the hill giving you an amazing view of the house and beyond.

One of the things the sellers loved most about living here is the neighborhood. Not only does Los Lagos have 24-hour security, but this close-knit community gives you another feeling of comfort and security. This is a place where neighbors become friends. There are plenty of social activities to enjoy including holiday parades, parties, and social clubs.
